Sharing a Holiday Meal Fundraiser

The Green Lake County Food Pantry would like to encourage all individuals, businesses, churches, and clubs/organizations to participate in their Fourth Annual “Sharing a Holiday Meal” project.

A donation of $20.00 will help the County Food Pantry to purchase the food needed for a Thanksgiving Holiday Meal for each participating household in November and a $40.00 donation will help the food pantry to purchase a Thanksgiving & Christmas Holiday Meal.

The County Food Pantry is asking the public to start making donations now so there are enough donations to cover the cost of providing a turkey/ham, potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, vegetables, fruits, rolls and pies in time for the holidays. These food items will be in addition to the other monthly food items the Green Lake County Food Pantry distributes during November & December.

Please note if you would like your donation to go towards the Thanksgiving or Christmas meal if you send $20.00; if you donate $40.00 it will go towards both holiday meals.

During last year’s “Sharing a Holiday Meal” the Green Lake County Food Pantry served nearly 500 households. The Green Lake County Food Pantry relies on the generosity of the public to help them in their mission of feeding those in need. Please give now to help make someone else’s holidays a little brighter!
