Arbor Day Celebration

We are happy to announce that after a two-year gap, The Green Lake County Land Conservation Committee will resume their Arbor Day Celebration on Thursday, April 28th beginning at 8:00AM with a buffet style breakfast catered by Crossroads Market.

Please note the location has been changed to the American Legion Hall on 518 Water Street in Green Lake, WI 54941.

The guest speaker this year is Thomas Shultz, artist/illustrator for over 40 years, with a degree in wildlife ecology. Tom’s presentation is titled “Invaders in our Forests” wherein he will talk about the challenges that invasive, non-native species pose for us, including the role that birds play in the process.

Registration is needed in advance. The cost of the breakfast is $14.00 per person for EARLY BIRD registration available now until April 15th.
For registrations received April 16th – 26th the cost is $16.00 per person.
