Day Service Team
The Day Service Program and its staff are responsible for providing skill based training to those we serve in the community and at our Fox River Industries location. This program provides a variety of services including community outings, assisting with volunteering in the community, educational opportunities, exercise and physical therapy, along with taking care of personal care needs and daily skills training. In this program we are often dealing with challenging behaviors. We have made environmental changes along with creating extensive behavioral support programs for those who need them to minimize and prevent aggression. We have been striving to serve everyone who is interested in our services in some form whether thru an education class or in accessing the community. All questions and concerns about this program should be directed to Dawn. Dawn also fields all calls about the workshop, Individual Program Plans, schedules, community outings, absences, and transportation needs.

Production Team
There are three production groups in the workshop, each of which is each supervised by one production/program aide. Becky oversees these areas and communicates with all of our sub-contract agencies. Our production department specializes in light manufacturing, assembly, and packaging services. They also produce “A Squirrel’s Dozen”, our own brand of quality squirrel feed, packaged in a double-sealed, vented 6.5 lb bag and sold to retailers in Wisconsin and surrounding states.

Supported Employment
This program is responsible for assisting anyone interested in obtaining or maintaining employment in the community with gaining the necessary skills to work towards their vocational goals. They strive to find, obtain, and maintain jobs, along with creating the perfect job placement for those interested. There are many variables to think about to include personalities, strengths and weaknesses, needs, transportation, availability, and non-workday supervision. These ladies work closely with the employer, DVR, others support systems, FRI staff, and the job center to find the perfect site that will match the skills available to the job available. Any supported employment questions or concerns should be directed to Nancy.
