The County Clerk serves as the chief election official in the county. This office is responsible for the administration of all federal, state, and local elections including ballot preparation, election results, and canvass. Information regarding upcoming and past elections can be found below.

Local Partisan Office Candidacy Paperwork
County Clerk, County Treasurer, and Register of Deeds are Local Partisan Offices up for election on November 5, 2024. Below is a listing of important dates and the documents required to get on the ballot:
April 15, 2024 – First day to circulate nomination papers (minimum of 200 signatures required)
June 3, 2024 (5:00 PM) – Last day to file nomination papers, Declaration of Candidacy and Campaign Registration Statement
August 13, 2024 – Partisan Primary
November 5, 2024 – General Election
