Crop Management System Day

There is a Crop Management System Day being held on December 12, 2019 in the Training Room of the Green Lake County Government Center.

The day will begin with a Farmer Panel on Crop System Management. Chris Pollack, Pollack View Farms, will discuss his work as an Upper Fox Demo Farm, and Dave Jezwinski, hemp producer, will discuss what he learned in his first year of growing hemp. A DATCP Nutrient Management Specialist will discuss what’s new is SNAP Plus, along with connecting all the parts of your nutrient management plan together.

Time will be allowed for farmers to work on your nutrient management plans or get your specific questions answered. Plan to bring your nutrient management plan with you to the training so we can help you with any individual needs you may have.

Representatives from DATCP as well as Fond du Lac County and Green Lake County Land and Water Conservation Departments will be on site for assistance on SNAP Plus or to answer your questions.
