Veteran’s Service Commission

Description

Wisconsin Statutes, s45.12-45.15 govern the powers, duties and responsibilities of this commission. The function of this commission is to provide emergency assistance to needy veterans and their eligible dependents who reside in Green Lake County.

Applications for assistance are made through the Green Lake County Veterans Service Office. Applications are reviewed with the applicant and then referred to the commission for their action.

Structure

The Veterans Service Commission consists of three (3) members appointed by the County Board Chair. The members must be veterans and residents of Green Lake County.
