Challenge Coin Presentation

At the Wednesday, May 9, 2018, meeting of the Green Lake County Judicial-Law Enforcement-Emergency Management meeting, Sheriff Mark Podoll presented Sheriff’s Office Challenge Coins to three members of the community. Sheriff Podoll commented, “Challenge coin presentations are for citizens and law enforcement officers alike whose selfless acts of valor made a positive impact on the life of another.”  Sheriff Podoll presented the medals in front of the full committee and attendee support of the recipient’s family and friends.

(Image/Hilgart) – Sheriff Podoll presents challenge coins to Aaron and Tom Hilgart of Berlin, father and son, for assisting in the January 5, 2018, rescue of a Campbellsport snowmobiler who had crashed his snowmobile west of Berlin.

(Image/Hills) – Sheriff Podoll presents a challenge coin to William Hills of Princeton, for assisting in the March 16, 2018, rescue of a Princeton man who had fallen through the ice on Beyers Cove, Big Green Lake.
