2026 Well Testing Program
The Green Lake County Land Conservation Department and Health and Human Services Department will be offering well water testing for private well owners in Green Lake County.
In 2026, the program will focus on areas of the county where historically higher nitrate levels have been detected, but where fewer wells have been tested. This year’s focus area includes the southwest section of the Town of Princeton and the entire Town of Kingston. Our goal is to test 150 wells in 2026.
Cost and Registration
Register here – https://www.greenlakecountywi.gov/well-water-testing/
Participants must register for the program by the April 3rd deadline. A $20 non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of signing up to reserve a testing kit.
Each testing kit has an estimated value of $78, with the remaining cost covered by Green Lake County.
Because testing kits are limited, registration is based on a first-come, first-served basis with priority given to the targeted areas, and registration will not be complete until payment has been received.
If you have any further questions, please contact the Land Conservation Department at 920-294-4051.
