Notice of Sale of County Land

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Green Lake County Finance Committee will sell the parcel(s) of land of which Green Lake County is the owner of title. The parcels of land will be sold to the highest bidder. Property will be conveyed by quit claim deed to the highest bidder upon payment in full. All special assessments and subsequent year’s taxes will be the responsibility of the successful bidder. No title obstructions except for lawful covenants and easements. Submit bid by listing parcel number, and write the words: SEALED BID- COUNTY LAND on the outside of the envelope, which shall be addressed to the County Clerk, 571 County Road A, P.O. Box 3188, Green Lake, WI 54941-3188. Bidding will remain open until the property is sold. All bids will be presented to the Finance Committee at their next regular meeting. A deposit of 20% is required to be included in the form of a cashier’s check, certified check or money order made out to the Treasurer of Green Lake County. Settlement will be within 10 days of acceptance of bid. The Finance Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. This advertisement appears in accordance with the provision of and in compliance with Green Lake County Ordinance #5-47, Amended by Ordinance #784-03.
